Soulful electronic indie trio Wet formed in Brooklyn around 2012. Multi-instrumentalists Joe Valle and Marty Sulkow and singer Kelly Zutrau met while attending school in New York and eventually began working on material that would comprise their self-titled debut EP. Through Zutrau's warm vocals and an affinity for '90s R&B, they injected some quiet soul into their minimalist, electronic indie pop. Their EP was released by Neon Gold in 2013 to immediate hype.
