Austin boogie-pop band Wrongbird are thrilled to announce the release of their debut full-length LP ***Don't Quote Me On That*** with a special performance at Radio / East. Americana Soul outfit Madam Radar open. Wrongbird began as the project of Songwriter-keyboardist Eric Baker (Shinyribs, Tomar & The FCs). When Baker moved to Austin in 2016 he had already been writing and recording under the Wrongbird moniker. A chance meeting with producer-songwriter Michael Blake led to more songs, and ultimately to the rhythm section of drummer Dylan Hill (Mamalarky) and bassist Tim Smith. **Don't Quote Me On That** captures the '70s Leon Russell-esque exuberance of the band's live shows, while adding just the right amount of art-pop pastiche.
