A key figure within the lo-fi New York hip-hop scene of the 2010s and 2020s, rapper and producer Medhane infuses his bars with intense reflection and poignant anecdotes. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Medhane's journey as a musician is deeply intertwined with the vibrant culture and rich tapestry of his surroundings. Medhane has released a string of critically acclaimed projects, including albums Cold Water and Amethyst of Morning. Each release has further solidified his reputation as a visionary artist, known for his evocative storytelling, and intricate wordplay. Harlem, New York, artist Kahlil Blu can be compared to a collage. He utilizes a wide variety of sounds to help influence his production, which makes it easy for him to transition through trap-ish, lofi, and pop-ish records with ease. On his latest solo project, \*Metropolis, Blu holds no punches when it comes to showing his artistic abilities.  The show will be in celebration of the release of the Double or Nothing mixtape by Medhane and Kahlil Blu. Released in February 2024 - it marks the first full length collaborative effort between the two artists who have worked extensively in the past. Limited tickets available at the door.
