Brothers Henry, Jojo, and Ringo Garza formed the band in Nashville during the 1990s. Their earlier sound was country-inspired and they self-released two albums in the '90s, Los Lonely Boys and Teenage Blues, before moving back to Texas. After consistent touring, Los Lonely Boys hit the studio in 2003 to produce what would become their breakthrough album. Their second self-titled album was recorded at Willie Nelson's Padernales recording studio in Austin. This album was self-produced and they originally released the disc independently. The album caught the attention of Epic Records who signed the band to a recording contract. They subsequently left Epic and signed with the independent Austin-based label, Playing in Traffic Records. Los Lonely Boys 2009-10 tour included nearly 200 concerts and was attended by more than 350,000 fans. Their fourth and most recent LP, Rockpango was released in March, 2011 and debuted at #70 on the Billboard 200.
