Following up on his sold out Davenport’s engagements from 2022-2024, **Jay Schleppenbach** fires up the Betamax and throws on some legwarmers with arguably humorous stories and song parodies about his real and ridiculous experiences in the 1980s, from a surprisingly literate letter-writing caign with the Muppets to an uncomfortable obsession with Baby Jessica. Featuring ‘80s musical theatre classics from luminaries like Steven Sondheim and Andrew Lloyd Webber and questionable ‘80s chart toppers from Lionel Richie and Dionne Warwick (and friends), this evening will take audiences back to a simpler time when Jazzercise was king and people somehow believed George Michael was straight.
