Daffodils and tulips are easy to grow. The excitement for spring builds as these plants bloom their happy little hearts out. But how to bring them into your home and enjoy them in a flower arrangement? Daffodils have a toxic sap that wilts other flowers in the arrangement. Tulips grow towards the light, bend and stretch. Sometimes they can grow as much as two inches per day while in the vase. Both daffodils and tulips have thick stems.
