The annual "Cowgirl Up!" Exhibition and Sale at the Sigler Western Museum concludes with one of the weekend's most anticipated traditions, the Sunday Morning Quick Draw and Breakfast on March 29. Set against the lively backdrop of Frontier Street in downtown Wickenburg, the event captures the spirit of Western art in real time as artists create brand-new works before the public's eyes.

The morning begins from 9 to 10:30 a.m. under the big tent with the Quick Draw and Breakfast, while more than 20 participating artists prepare for the annual live painting event just outside the Museum. With easels, clay, and tools in hand, the artists step onto the sidewalk and begin the creative challenge. Each has just an hour and a half to complete and frame a painting or sculpt a clay piece that will later be cast in bronze. As the morning unfolds, visitors can stroll along Frontier Street and watch the works take shape from blank canvas to finished piece.

At 10:45 a.m., the excitement builds as auctioneer Carson Thomas takes the stage under the tent and the live auction begins. The freshly created works are shown by the artists immediately to collectors, creating a fast-paced and energetic finale to opening weekend of "Cowgirl Up!" It is an annual gathering filled with creativity, friendly competition, and the unmistakable energy of Western art in motion.

Throughout the late morning and early afternoon, the Main Museum, Cultural Crossroads Learning Center, and Ranch Dressing remain open to visitors, with all "Cowgirl Up!" artwork available for purchase. Buyers can also pick up their miniature paintings between 1 and 3 p.m. While tickets are required for seating under the tent, the public is welcome to watch the Quick Draw along the sidewalk of Frontier Street, where the artists and their work become the center of activity for this distinctly Western celebration.
