The Mendelssohn Performing Arts Center's mission is to provide exciting, personal, interactive music experiences for all. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, offering the following to the northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin area:

Live music performances by renowned local, national and international guest artists
Music education and performance opportunities for youth
Performing ensembles for youth and adults
Three beautiful event venues for the community's use

Outstanding guest artists who have performed on the Mendelssohn concert series through the years include Arthur Rubenstein, Isaac Stern, the Vienna Boys Choir, Robert Merrill, Dave Brubeck, Jean Pierre Rampal, Dawn Upshaw, Horatio Guetiérrez and Beaux Arts Trio, Chanticleer, Chris Brubeck's Triple Play, Sharon Isbin, Alasdair Fraser, the Cheng/Chow Trio, Valentina Lisitsa, Julie Fowlis, and Christopher O'Riley
