Cultural center in Los Angeles, California 2220 Arts & Archives is a cultural center dedicated to film, literature, music and performing arts in the Historic Filipinotown neighborhood of Los Angeles. 2220's arts calendar is determined by a programming co-op built from LA-based non-profits and event series such as Acropolis Cinema, Black Editions, LA Filmforum, Mezzanine, Mythscience Archives, Pehrspace, Poetic Research Bureau, Rotations and VDSQ. In addition to concerts, screenings, readings and talks, 2220 pursues an archival mission to document ephemeral and fugitive arts, experimental performance and poetic communities of practice, assembling media collections (records, books, ephemera) and exploring new ways to make them available to the public at large.
