Event Information

Join us around the fire as we “roast” again the texts and melodies so beloved of the holiday season.

Over the centuries, composers have returned again and again to texts such as “Ave Maria” and “There is No Rose,” and to familiar melodies including “The Coventry Carol” and even “Jingle Bells.” We’ll share settings from across centuries and cultures, pairing beloved old chestnuts with newly discovered voices—including those of our Composers-in- and Not-in-Residence.

Come celebrate the season with music both familiar and unexpected.
