New Spirit Cafe's Jazz and More series continues Saturday Sept. 19 in the Joan Harris Blackbox at Atlantic Center for the Arts. Jazz is on the menu with the Jeff Rupert Quartet. Jeff's 11 recordings as a bandleader have all charted on Jazz Week. Jeff was a featured soloist on Benny Carter's iconic Grammy winning album Harlem Renaissance and has recorded and traveled with many of America's jazz legends. He's also the director of jazz studies at the University of Central Florida. For jazz lovers, this will be a show not to miss. This is an ACA Live! event, produced by Positively Florida in artistic partnership with ACA. The classic jazz quartet features a masterful array of acclaimed players, with Jeff Rupert on saxophone, Richard Drexler at the Steinway piano, Charlie Silva playing bass, and McClenty Hunter on drums
