Heathers: The Musical

Westerberg High School, 1989. Veronica Sawyer is smart, sharp-tongued, and desperate to survive high school with her sense of self intact. When she's recruited into the Heathers - the three most powerful (and most terrifying) girls in school - she gets the popularity she always wanted, and loses herself in the process.

Then she meets J.D.

Mysterious, magnetic, and dangerously unhinged, J.D. offers Veronica an escape from the Heathers' cruelty - but his idea of "fixing" Westerberg High goes further than anyone could have imagined. What starts as a fantasy of revenge spirals into something no one can take back.
Based on the beloved 1988 cult classic film, Heathers: The Musical (music, lyrics, and book by Laurence O'Keefe and Kevin Murphy) is a fearless, funny, and ferociously smart rock musical about cliques, cruelty, and the high cost of fitting in. With a score that swings from razor-witted comedy numbers to gut-punch ballads, this is teen angst turned all the way up - equal parts hilarious and heartbreaking.

This is the show that turned a dark 80s satire into a modern musical theater phenomenon, beloved by a generation who grew up quoting it and a new generation discovering it for the first time. It's fast, it's loud, it's unapologetically weird, and it doesn't pull a single punch.
