The GTO Trio is comprised of three of the most in-demand and innovative musicians in New York City, pianist Gadi Lehavi, bassist Tal Mashiach, and drummer Ofri Nehemya - who are already recognized as some of the leading voices of their generation.

Collectively, they have worked with musical icons such as Chick Corea, Ravi Coltrane, Bobby McFerrin, Mulatu Astatke, and many more, and have appeared on stages ranging from the legendary Village Vanguard to Madison Square Garden, as well as concert halls and festivals across Europe, Japan, and around the globe.

Their sophomore album Within, released in January 2025, features original compositions by all three members and has been widely praised in the international jazz press. JazzTimes highlighted Within among its “Top Jazz Releases, January 2025,” noting the trio’s deep simpatico and interplay that is “attention-grabbing from the start.”

Drawing on the lineage of the jazz piano-trio tradition and infusing it with Mediterranean colors, South American rhythmic sensibilities, and the group’s signature blend of lyrical improvisation and deep collective intuition, the GTO Trio’s sound is sophisticated, elegant, yet immediately inviting.
