The Fairbanks Summer Arts Festival is proud to present the return of our Festival Orchestra, featuring 45 musicians from Fairbanks, Anchorage, and all over the United States. Joined by the newly formed Polaris Chamber Choir, this concert will be given in celebration of America250 with all American composers including William Billings, Morten Lauridsen, Samuel Barber, and Aaron Copland. In celebration of the United States Semiquincentennial, this concert is support through a grant the Alaska State Council for the Arts and the National Endowment of the Arts. Polaris will be conducted by Guest Artists, Dr. Karen Miskell and Dr. Donald Brinegar. Festival Orchestra will be conducted by Fairbanksan and former UAF Wind Ensemble Director, George Rydlinski.

Tickets are $25 General Admission/$15 for Children and Seniors. Performance will be held in the UAF Davis Concert Hall
