The popular alt-metal band Breaking Benjamin has developed a cult following since their inception in 2001. They shook up the world of rock with hit albums like Phobia and Dear Agony, and have played energetic tour dates to hundreds of screaming fans. Breaking Benjamin is currently on hiatus due to the illness of frontman Ben Brunley, which will mean no tour dates for 2011. As Brunley's condition isn't life-threatening, fans can expect more concert dates in the future; as well as a greatest hits album rumored to be released in late 2011. Ben Brunley briefly started Breaking Benjamin in 1998, but restarted the band in 2000 with a different lineup (except for original guitarist, Aaron Fink). That means no new albums for a while and no concert dates in 2011, but there have been rumors of a greatest hits album in the works.
