Registration for the School of Ballet Tucson's 2026/27 school year opens July 13. Families are encouraged to register early by August 1st to secure their classes and become part of Ballet Tucson's landmark 40th anniversary season.

As Southern Arizona's only professional ballet company with an affiliated professional training school, Ballet Tucson offers an experience unlike any other in the region. Students study with accomplished faculty and professional company artists while receiving comprehensive instruction in ballet, jazz, tap, modern, hip hop, conditioning, and other dance disciplines. Throughout the year, students gain invaluable stage experience through performances and special productions that complement their classroom training.

Whether taking their first dance class or preparing for a professional career, students are welcomed into an environment that emphasizes technical excellence, artistic expression, discipline, and a lifelong appreciation for dance.

New Pre-Professional Program Debuts This Fall

Launching this season, the School of Ballet Tucson's new Pre-Professional Program is designed for dedicated dancers seeking a more rigorous level of training, artistry and professional development.

Open exclusively to students enrolled in Levels 5-7 during the 2026-2027 school year, the program provides enhanced educational opportunities that bridge the gap between advanced student training and the professional world.

Participants will enjoy exclusive benefits including complimentary access to select Ballet Tucson company rehearsals and performances, curated arts experiences, specialized workshops, company and college audition coaching, professional development, and exclusive merchandise, offering students an inside look at the life of a professional dance company while preparing them for the next stage of their artistic journey.
