Event Information

Join the Austin Symphonic Band at the Chico Portillo Performing Arts Center for an afternoon of powerful symphonic sound, fresh repertoire and the kind of musical warmth that makes fall in Austin feel unforgettable. It's the perfect way to welcome the new season!
The selections are from our friends and neighbors around Texas: "New Mexico March" by Sousa, "Suite Louisiane" by James Syler, Robert Russell Bennett's lovely arrangement of tunes from "Oklahoma!," Alfred Reed's incredible "El Camino Real," and other selections. Fun music for the entire family!
