The 40th annual Mendocino Music Festival opens July 11 with JigJam and runs through July 25 in spectacular Mendocino California. For four decades, the Festival has been an enduringly popular and successful arts event attracting audiences and performers from around the world to celebrate a variety of musical genres in one of America's most beloved scenic and cultural locations.

In addition to the signature variety of music including classical, jazz, big band, folk, bluegrass, pop, piano, chamber music, opera and more, the 2026 Festival shines a spotlight throughout the Festival on Beethoven, including Waterfall's annual hallmark illustrated lecture series with music and conversation, special premiere film screening and more .

Festival highlights include the Festival Orchestra, Big Band, Chorus and Chamber Players; JigJam, Business Casual, Stephen Prutsman, Carolyn Wonderland, Brittany Davis and Black Thunder, Solas, Jacksonport, Julian Pollack, Anthony Ratinov, The Steel Wheels, Zoe Ellis, David Ellis and Janet Maxie Reid; La Boheme, Fire and Grace, Maiya Sykes, Calder String Quartet, Cahill/Myers Piano Duo, Beausoleil with Michael Doucet, Laila Biali, Evie Ladin and Keith Terry; Mio Imai, Rachel Breen, Tom Rush, Sue Foley and more.
