Located in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles, California, the Getty Center is one of two venues which together, form the J. Paul Getty Museum. The Getty Center, also known as "the Center" for short, first opened its doors to the public on December 15, 1997. Since then, the Getty Center has become a popular Los Angeles landmark and tourist site.
