We have grown and moved three different times since those early days we met on the corner of Bert Kouns and Mansfield Rd. Our desire to be an integral part of the Ark-La-Tex along with our desire to help people become healthy and happy through knowing Jesus Christ has never changed. That is why we chose to forego constructing more buildings on our beautiful property in southwest Shreveport.

We saw an opportunity to help our community. The area was fast declining and heading for real trouble. Someone needed to help turn things around. Our people, through faith in God, believed we were the ones to do it. We purchased South Park Mall in 2005 and began transforming a J.C. Penney’s building into a beautiful place of worship for our Lord Jesus Christ. The former South Park Mall, now called Summer Grove Baptist Church, is a massive facility with some challenges, but also with great potential.
