Rancocas Valley Regional High School District, located in historic Mount Holly, serves approximately 40 square miles of the suburban, single-family home townships of Eastampton (6,528), Hainesport (5,951), Lumberton (11,957), Mount Holly (10,230) and Westampton (8,661). The nine-member RV Board of Education includes representatives from each of the five sending township districts.
The overall population of Burlington County (70.6% White, 16.6% Black, 6.4% Hispanic, and 4.3% Asian) has increased 6% since the year 2000 with 5.8% of individuals less than 18 years of age. Despite a median family income of $74,481 and the average home assessed at $264,100 in 2010, approximately 6.1% of the population lives below the poverty level.
