PowerHouse Event Center debuted as an event center in Boise, Idaho when the Kowallis and Mackey firm renovated the historic 8,200 square foot building located on 9 acres. The PowerHouse Event Center has stood as a Boise landmark since 1912. Designed and  built by Tourtellotte and Hummel as the Beaver River Power Station, the building served as Boise’s first coal-fired power plant.

Since it’s debut as an event center, PowerHouse Event Center has been a desired location for unique and memorable events, including weddings, dances, art shows,  concerts, comedy events, corporate parties and more. Powerhouse Event Center is conveniently located in the Powerhouse District.
