The Opening Night Selection of Locarno in LA is the Special Jury Prize winner of the 2022 festival: *The Adventures of Gigi the Law*. ~ Director: Alessandro Comodin · Italy, France, Belgium · 2022 · Color · 98' · o.v. Italian/Friulan Dialect ~ Scenario: Gigi is a rural traffic officer where nothing ever happens. One day however, a young girl throws herself under a train. This is not the first time. Facing this unexplainable suicide wave, Gigi starts investigating a strange world, between reality and fantasy, in which a garden is a jungle and where an ever-smiling policeman keeps his heart open to love.
