Nathan LiebertNathan Liebert is a New York based guitarist, songwriter, composer, and singer who is influenced by historical and contemporary musicians such as Thelonius Monk, Pat Metheny, Allan Holdsworth, Radiohead, and many more. He is a lover of many styles of music including Jazz, Prog, Neo Soul, Alt Rock, Bossa Nova. He writes music that combines and recontextualizes these seemingly unrelated genres. NowsterdayStarted in 2013 in Austin, TX, Nowsterday (FKA Circling Drones) is a funk-fusion jazz band based in New York City that play originals inspired by artists such as Herbie Hancock, Frank Zappa, and Thundercat. A lot of their songs have improvisation drawing from years of musical experience. Fronted by multi-instrumentalist, Matthew Moore, who graduated with honors from the Music School of The University of North Texas, who composes each song. Along with Hajime Yoshida on guitar, Yuko Togami on drums, and Gaines Legare on bass.
