California Museum of Art Thousand Oaks sheds light on the art of contemporary female photographers with its exhibit "Exposed: The Female Lens in a Post-Identity Era?" The collection offers a photographic examination of identity through the artistry of some of the most compelling photographers working in California today. Curated by Lynn Farrand and Laura PG Lewis, the exhibit features works by "fabricated photographs" pioneer Jo Ann Callis, as well as thought-provoking pieces by Arden Surdam, Gay Ribisi, Andréanne Michon, Sant Khalsa and Sandra Klein.
