*RAIN OR SHINE* Please arrive 1 hour prior to departure.Peep Peep Get ready for a full day of fun! Thomas the Tank Engine is rolling into town for a day of BIG dreams and even BIGGER smiles. Jump on board Thomas for an interactive train ride, pick up your Dream Pass and head to the Play Pod or say hello to Sir Topham Hatt. For the little engineers who want a little more excitement, check out the Dream Big Corner for photo ops, lawn games t forget to head to the Exclusive Pop Up gift shop for toys and swag! Day Out With Thomas is heading to heritage railways across the country bring the whole family & imagine how far you will go! COVID 19/VACCINE REGULATIONS: (If applicable) Enhanced safety protocols in place. All Day Out With Thomas Events will be required to follow local government guidelines. Please be sure to bring your mask. Advance reservations required. In accordance with current COVID-19 considerations and health orders, face masks are required on the train for everyone ages two and up, and are optional in all other areas of the museum. COVID-19 protocols will be updated as required. Visitors must follow all protocols in effect at the time of the event, so please come prepared with a mask to be worn in required areas. Visitors who are unable to wear a mask or properly wear a mask due to a condition protected by the ADA are exempt Advanced purchasing is strongly encouraged. The museum is walking intensive and involves entering and exiting several buildings and outside areas. Visitors with mobility issues are encouraged to bring their own wheelchairs, walkers, etc., as required. One car of the Thomas train is equipped for ADA accessibility including several wheelchair spaces and companion seating. One car of the Percy train is equipped for ADA accessibility with two wheelchair spaces and companion seating. Both trains have access to a wheelchair lift for loading into ADA designated cars. The other cars on the trains are not ADA accessible due to the vintage nature of their construction.Day Out With Thomas event admission is required for access to the N.C. Transportation Museum during Day Out With Thomas event days.
