Cultural Art Strings Summer Day Camp, Session I June 19-23, Half Day or Full Day, for string players ages 6-13, beginning to intermediate, no experience necessary.
Camp Goals: Daily lessons will include a group lesson with your instrument at your level, a group ensemble class with all instruments at all levels, chamber music for intermediate players, listening and movement class, and art projects. By the end of camp, students will be able to play in a group setting, demonstrate proper positioning, and recognize the three different styles of music we will cover: classical, jazz, and folk.
Full Day Campers: additional private lessons, choices in specialized classes and processed based projects.
Who can sign up Any child Ages 6-13 interested in playing an instrument. No experience necessary.

Covers instrument rental, insurance, lessons, t-shirt, and supplies. All day cost covers private lessons, and extra projects/classes.

Is snack or lunch provided?
Each family signs up to bring a snack for one day. Students staying full day are expected to bring their own lunch.
Do you have financial aid?
We do have a confidential financial aid committee that can determine your need based on a sliding scale. An application is required to be considered for this aid. Please contact us to obtain the application which is due by May 1.
What are the deadlines?
Registrations Due May 1.
Any remaining spaces left after May 1 must be registered in full by June 1.
