Meeting and forming the band over Myspace; Australia's Mark Di Renzo (Gigantic) and Jamie Horsburgh collaborated with Norway's Tomas Dahl (Turbonegro), eventually hitting studios in Oslo, Paris, Perth and Sydney to track their first generation of songs.

With the northern summer of 2012 came The Stanleys’ infectious debut offering, the Always-EP, receiving praise from a budding community of fans and spinning on medium and high rotation on US college radio and London’s Radio 2. They rode the wave of the Always – EP success, playing all over the world including the prominent CMJ, NXNE, and the world’s largest festival, Summerfest.

The Stanleys’ Always music video found its way to TV broadcasts all over North America and Australia as well as finding a home on the big screens of USA’s Hard Rock Cafes, Planet Hollywood restaurants, Hilton, Marriott and many other hotels and retailers.

In the gaming world, their high energy upbeat pop rock anthem Kid’s Gonna Rock was welcomed with open arms with its inclusion in Harmonix’s Rock Band and Rock Band Blitz gaming platforms for XBOX.
