A compelling storyteller and humorist, Kimmie Rhodes teams up with guitar virtuoso and producer Gabriel Rhodes for a unique matinee show at The Saxon Pub on November 8th from 4-5:30pm to celebrate the releases of West Texas Heaven Revisited; Stories and Songs, her newly released memoir songbook and the re-mixed and re-mastered album, that includes rare bonus "out-take" tracks recorded with Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings and Townes Van Zandt from the original sessions, plus a since-recorded duet with Emmylou Harris and a co-write with Waylon. Kimmie will sing the songs and tell the stories of how and why the songs were written, sharing intimate tales about recording with her Americana heroes and the unlikely circumstances under which the sessions came to be.
