Los Angeles based RIO KOSTA emerged in late 2022 with debut double A side 45” “ANCIENTS” and “Volar Lejos(Like a Feather)” to critical and underground fanfare. The brainchild of artist/producer/writers Mike Del Rio (LP, X Ambassadors, Kylie Minogue) and Kosta Galanopoulos (Luke Temple, Delicate Steve, a/k/a PWNT as well as a highly sought after drummer), these two worldly talents have come together to fuse classic songwriting with many influences to create a kaleidoscope of global sounds, funk and soul, delivered to you by a captivating, tropical ensemble of instrumentalists and percussion. Seemingly by word of mouth, RIO KOSTA has since been building a dedicated live fanbase while fueling anticipation for their upcoming full length project, out in early 2024. Presented by Gold-Diggers.
