For the very first time in Iowa, internationally acclaimed YouTube artist Mike Masse brings his powerful acoustic classic rock sound to the legendary Surf Ballroom-the last stage graced by Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and The Big Bopper on the fateful night forever remembered as The Day the Music Died.
On Sunday, October 19th, Mike will be joined by his longtime friends and collaborators, Jeff Hall and Sterling Cottam, for a FREE concert and music video shoot you won’t want to miss.

Together, they will film their new acoustic cover of Don McLean’s iconic anthem, “American Pie,” on that historic stage. This performance continues Mike’s celebrated tradition of delivering faithful, soaring renditions of rock’s most beloved classics.
