Improviser, film composer and soundscape artist Torn approaches the far sonic edges of guitar and the High Low Duo with guitarists Jack Petruzzelli and Cameron Greider play original surf and western swing instrumentals inspired by Chet Atkins and Les Paul, but they also venture into classical music with original arrangements of works by Ravel and Bartok. Their debut album makes a good case for the electric guitar as a classical instrument, capable of the range of expression and colors needed to bring these pieces to life. Presented by Hudson Valley Live. This is an all ages event.
