Venue Information

We are a progressive, welcoming, and diverse congregation that emphasizes community and worship. Members and friends come from various religious backgrounds. Some of us have searched a long time for the sense of belonging we find here because Virginia Highland Church is different, on purpose.

In other churches, some Christians have felt that they just did not “fit in.” If you do not like feeling pressured to conform to narrow belief systems and conservative political agendas, Virginia-Highland is the place for you. Every week, when we take Communion, we say, “This is not our table but God’s table, and all of us are welcome at God’s table.”To serve as a radically inclusive community boldly pursuing God’s charge to fight for justice, embrace compassion, and humbly explore our faith as we follow the Way of Jesus.
