Trattoria 25 This little Italian jewel, set in the heart of industrial Downtown LA/Vernon, offers an scrumptious and inexpensive variety of fresh Italian dishes that includes their signature dish “Bigoletti ai frutti di mare,” or spaghetti in a light tomato sauce with lobster tail, manila clams, shrimp and crab cake. Their extensive menu stresses freshness with the comfort of Italy with dishes that include pasta, meat and fish, a long list of Panini and fresh testy salads. Trattoria 25’s homemade pizza, desserts and bread are also prepared daily and at a moment’s notice. Chef Simone and Abramo can even cook up custom-ordered pasta and pizza that will meet the demands of every clientele. Trattoria 25 is brand new (opened in January 09) but the dining experience lasts for decades.
