The Gate has been serving local Bakersfield bands, artists and their fans since February 1997. Our goal has always been to have a venue that treats artist in a professional and courteous manner.

Helping bands sound and play their best. Having a place where family and friends feel welcome and bands/artists are not ashamed to invite them. Always compensating bands when they promote and bring in a good size crowd. We’ve seen hundreds of local and national bands play our venue over the years. We plan to continue this service for many years to come.
