Venue Information

The Frequency is a live music venue and night club located in downtown Madison near the Capitol Square at 121 W. Main St. We host a wide variety of local, regional, national and international acts 7 nights a week.

We open at 8pm every day; for happy hour shows we open a half hour prior to show time. Check show listings for times.

We serve delicious Emil's pizza.

Drink special Sunday - Wednesday: $2 PBR Tallboys and $2.50 Rail Mixers.

Thursday night is Kill The Keg night. $1.50 12 Oz. taps of selected beer until it's gone.

We are an 18 + venue (select shows will be 21+, please refer to our website for nightly details)

Please keep an eye on individual show listings as NOT ALL SHOWS WILL BE 18+. The Frequency will be working with artists to determine which shows will be 18+. If an event is listed at 21+ it is because the artists have requested it be that way. Halloween and New Year's Eve events are always 21+.
