Englert Theatre in Iowa City, Iowa, is a renovated vaudeville-era playhouse now serving as a community arts center and 725-seat performance venue. It is owned and operated year around by Englert Civic Theatre, a non-profit art organization.

We are an arts nonprofit with historic roots. Originally opened in 1912, our theater has been a community gathering place for more than a century. Since re-opening our doors as a performing arts presenter in 2004, our programs and partnerships have grown to serve more than 100,000 people annually.
