Officials with SMG Lincoln, Mammoth, the Lumineers and Lincoln Parks and Recreation announced this afternoon that tomorrow night’s Lumineers concert at Pinewood Bowl Theater in Lincoln’s Pioneers Park will be held at Pershing Center, 226 Centennial Mall South in downtown Lincoln.

The decision to move the concert was made in light of the impending local forecast for Thursday that calls for severe thunderstorms that could include dangerous lightning, large hail, heavy rain and damaging winds.

“While concerts at Pinewood Bowl Theater are scheduled as rain or shine, public safety is our primary concern when severe weather is in the forecast.  Based on the information available today – this is what all parties have decided,” said SMG Assistant General Manager Charlie Schilling.
