Venue Information

The Holland theatre was built in 1931 by the Schine Company. It is the only Dutch themed theatre in the United States and on the Historic National Registry of historic buildings.

Logan County Landmark Preservation, Inc. has been working since 1999 to restore this important landmark in Logan County. The theatre now has state of the art theatrical sound and lighting systems. All of the Dutch buildings are lit along the sides of the interior and the balcony is open. A new set of doors has recently been installed giving the 80 year old theatre a real face lift on the street.
