Friday Night Folk concerts began at All Souls Unitarian Universalist Congregation in New London in 1989, bringing quality folk music and performers to Southeastern Connecticut. Through the years, folk music fans from all over New England have enjoyed the music of Utah Philips, Cheryl Wheeler, Bill Staines, Bill Morrissey, Vance Gilbert, Aztec Two-Step, John Gorka, Patty Larkin, Geoff Kaufman, Voco, Ida Red, Work o' the Weavers, The Burns Sisters, Sarah Lee Guthrie and Johnny Irion, Richard Shindell, John Flynn and John Wort Hannam, emma's revolution, and Shoreline Acoustic Music Society events.
