Los Angeles' Dodger Stadium opened its doors to the public for the first time in 1962. Since then, the venue has welcomed over 125 million fans. Dodger Stadium features a seating capacity of 56,000 and has without doubt, one of, if not the best playing fields in Major League Baseball. Over the years, the venue has maintained its popularity, and is now considered to be one of Southern California's most loved landmarks. While the Los Angeles once also called Dodger Stadium 'home', the venue has been home to the MLB's Los Angeles, or L.A. Dodgers exclusively, since 1965. The venue has played host to eight World Series, 1984's Olympic Games Baseball competition, and was also the chosen location for the Opening Ceremonies for the United States Olympic Festival in 1991.
