Venue Information

Decatur First UMC is a great place to have your wedding! Our historic stone chapel dates from 1899 and features a beautiful Tiffany stained glass window. Contact our Wedding Director, Karen Edmunds, at 404-378-4541 for more information.

Worship Services: there are two traditional worship services on Sundays at 8:45 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary. Our contemporary worship service, CAYA, is held at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel on Sycamore Street.

During Sunday services or other church events, parking can be a bit tight. Those attending an event or a service here at Decatur First are invited to park in the Wells Fargo deck across the street. If you do so, once you get inside the sanctuary, be sure to see an usher for a parking voucher for the deck.
