Venue Information
Automobile Driving Museum was founded in 2001 by Earl Rubenstein and Stanley Zimmerman, long time automobile collectors and friends. They had dreamed about a museum that allowed the public to actually sit in and experience riding in a Classic and Special Interest Vehicle.
For many years, Rubenstein and Zimmerman would attend classic automobile exhibits and car shows where nearly every vehicle displayed a “LOOK, BUT DO NOT TOUCH” sign. Their philosophy on the other hand was to permit visitors to climb into the rumble seats, sit behind the steering wheels and reminisce about their first or desired automobile. On occasion, when someone requested rides, they would make special arrangements to accommodate.
