The story features bigamist, John Smith, a taxi driver with two wives, two lives and a very precise schedule for juggling them both. John Smith appears to be the happiest man in the world loving his job and his two wives in two separate cities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Smith gets into trouble one day when he saves an old lady from two youngsters and ends being mugged, hit on the head and winding up in a hospital. He becomes hopelessly entangled in his attempts to explain why two wives report him to be missing.
