Philip Bauer began his entertainment career as a singer\/songwriter in 1985 by winning a statewide talent contest in Minnesota. Bauer took first place in a field of over 800 contestants at the Minnesota state fair and was asked to perform nightly in a 40 piece orchestra at the fair in 1986. He has played in bands performing his music as well as impersonating various artists throughout the 90s. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Philip gave his first national television performance on Charles Daniels Talent Roundup on TNN. The singer has had his original songs played on over 300 country music stations all across Europe. He has also performed with many country music stars including Leann Rimes, David Frizzell, Vince Gill, Jim Ed Brown, and Toby Kieth. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Philip was more than happy to have been given the chance to bring the music and memories of Johnny Cash to life and has been named as \u201cThe World\u2019s Greatest Tribute to Johnny Cash\u201d<\/strong> by AXS TV. The show took him across the US, Canada, Mexico, New Zealand, and Australia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Philip Bauer<\/strong><\/a> was a proud member of the Oklahoma Opry Association where he was honored with two prestigious awards i.e. Male vocalist of the year and Entertainer of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
