An orchestra with a reputation for innovation, creativity, and excellence is continually changing the thought of what a 21st Century Orchestra can be and do. The Louisville Orchestra is the primary orchestra in Louisville<\/a>, Kentucky founded by Robert Whitney<\/strong> and Charles Farnsley<\/strong> in 1937.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Welcoming\nthe new music director, Teddy\nAbrams, in 2014<\/strong>\nbrought the revival and re-engagement of Orchestra\u2019s engagement\nwith contemporary composers. He is strongly committed to providing a\nplatform to young composers and to accomplish the mission LO offers a\nwide variety of concert series to the community. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Louisville Orchestra<\/a> performs concerts and provides educational programming including classical programs featuring world-renowned guest artists, lighter classical and pops performances, concerts with engaging themes in neighborhood locations throughout the city. The team under the guidance of Teddy Abrams has been constantly on its way of achieving the goal of \u2018one of the most interesting orchestras on the world.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n
